A piano trio formed of three remarkable soloists, performing Grieg’s only work in the medium (composed when he was 35), the sublime Ravel and Schubert Eb major trios, and ‘Dances & Laments’, a new work by Peter Fribbins, here receiving its UK première.

This 12 min piece was premiered at Kings Place on 15 Januar 2012
by Philippe Graffin, violin, and Henri Demarquette, cello,
