The excellent Badke Quartet, performing one of the best early quartets by Joseph Haydn, with its haunting slow movement, and Ravel’s ravishing quartet from 1903.

The quartet is joined by soprano Michelle Todd in the beautiful Il Tramonto - Respighi’s 1914 setting of Shelley’s poem The Sunset.
