The first of a two year cycle given by the Allegri Quartet surveying the complete Beethoven quartets and notable works by Shostakovich, opens with the early Op.14 quartet (arranged by Beethoven from his E major Piano Sonata) and the first of the great mid-period Razumovsky works.
