ChamberStudio
Showcase concert for three of the most exciting new young chamber groups in the UK:

ChamberStudio has been created to offer coaching and support to aspiring up-and-coming chamber groups when they are no longer under the protective wing of an institution.  It is open from October to May, and each week eminent chamber players and teachers from across Europe give masterclasses at Kings Place on Sunday afternoons.

The Lawson Trio is rapidly becoming recognised as one of the UK's finest chamber ensembles. Selected as one of eight piano trios to perform in the final rounds of the Sixth Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition, recent performance highlights have included concerts at the Southbank Centre, Bath International Festival and recitals in Aldeburgh as the first piano trio to enjoy a 'String Quartet' Residency at Snape Maltings.

Selected by Park Lane Group and winners of he 2009 Philharmonia Orchestra/MMSF Ensemble award, the Wu Quartet recently continued to further their studies at the European Chamber Music Academy. Junior Fellows at Trinity College of Music for 2010/2011 they will make their Wigmore Hall debut in June 2011.

First prize winners of the 2011 Royal Over-Seas League Competition, the Cavaleri Quartet made their Wigmore Hall debut in 2010. They are Leverhulme Junior Fellows in Chamber Music at the Royal College of Music for 2010/11, and currently study with Guenter Pichler of the Alban Berg Quartet.
