The famous baroque ensemble Red Priest has become established as an essential part of today’s musical landscape, wowing audiences in all corners of the globe with its inventive, high-spirited, rule-breaking approach to music of the 17th and 18th centuries. This programme, entitled Vertigo – Baroque on the Edge offers a dizzying programme of music from France, Germany and Italy, including well known pieces like Corelli’s variations on La Folia, Gluck’s Dance of the Blessed Spirits, and Vivaldi, combined with lesser known works by French baroque masters such as Royer, Durante and Forqueray.
