The Complete Beethoven Trios – Concert 3
Martino Tirimo piano
Ben Sayevich violin
Daniel Veis cello
The last concert in our survey of Beethoven’s works for piano trio, given by the trio of international soloists that constitutes the Rosamunde Trio. This concert couples another of the early Op. 1 trios, the ebullient G major trio, with the final one, the mighty Archduke Trio from 1811, so called because of its dedication to Archduke Rudolph of Austria, a friend and composition student of Beethoven.
