The Sattler String Quartet was formed at the Royal College of Music in January 2011 and they have played in masterclasses with members of the Sacconi, Chilingirian, London Haydn, Navarra and Kuss Quartets.

They have also participated in the Beethoven String Quartet competitions at the RCM in February 2012 and 2013, and for both were highly commended. Their performances have included St Dunstan’s-in-the-West Church and Cadogan Hall. They are also closely tied to St. John’s Church in Hampstead, London where they give regular concerts.

The Sattler Quartet have chosen to perform the Haydn Quartet, Op.76 No. 2 to complement the Mozart quartet in the Wihan Quartet’s performance. The Webern stands in contrast to the classical/romantic programme for the evening.
