The famous Fitzwilliam Quartet is joined by James Gilchrist in a programme of early twentieth-century British and Australian works including Vaughan William’s remarkable setting of A.E. Housman’s ‘On Wenlock Edge’, composed in 1909.
The quartet this year celebrates it's 40th anniversary, having first sat down to play together as undergraduates during their first term in Cambridge in Autumn 1986.
