The celebrated Czech ensemble perform a recent commission from Roxanna Panufnik, the ninth of Dvorak’s fourteen string quartets and Schubert’s mighty last quartet, composed in just ten days in June 1826.

Elixir String Trio (Guildhall School of Music) |
|
Leslie Boulin Raulet, Marine Gandon, and Michael Tafforeau,
three French musicians, met each other at the Royal College of Music
and formed the Elixir Trio in 2006.
They have received coaching from the Chilingirian Quartet.
They won the FNAPEC competition prize of the“Festival D’Arradon”
in April 2009 in Paris, and the “Prix des ClubsService 2008”
in the Academie Internationale Maurice Ravel in France.
