To end the evening, The Fine Arts Brass Ensemble, played a wonderful
Tin Pan Alley Brass Suite (arr. Lenton and Roberts) which was enthusiastically applauded

Brahms: Trio for horn, violin and piano, Op.40 to start the evening.

 
 

Francois Poulenc's Sextet for piano and winds in C, Op.100 continued a memorable evening.
The players were (l-r) Sarah Brennan, flute, Sophie Lusty, oboe, Wai-Yee Lee, basson,
Colin Yi Tan, clarinet, Roger Montgomery, horn, and Mikhail Shilyaev, piano.
All five, apart from Roger Montgomery, are students from Trinity Laban Conservatoire.

 
 
To end the evening violinist Jan Schmolck, and students from the Royal Academy of Music,
(l-r) Teresa Privratska, violin, Andrew Vickers, d-bass, Lauren Steel, cello and
Stephanie Edmundson, viola, played the moving Dvorak Quintet No.2 in G, Op.77.

To end the evening, the Rosamunde played a trio probably new to most of the audience,

To end the evening, the Trio played a lovely
Mendelssohn: Piano Trio in C minor to great applause.

gave us a spendid performance of Ralph Vaughan Williams –
On Wenlock Edge (A.E. Housman) for tenor, strings and piano (1909)
in the first half of the evening.
 
 

At the end of the evening, Brahms' Piano Quintet in F minor, Op. 34
was enthusiastically applauded by our audience.

James Francis Brown, composer, joins Simon Crawford-Phillips, piano,
and Gemma Rosefield, cello, on stage to congratulate them on playing
a delightful rendition of his composition 'Prospero's Isle'.

 
 
To end the evening, Gemma, Tamsin and Simon played a memorable
Dvorak: Piano Trio No.3 in F minor, Op.65

after playing Dmitri Shostakovich's String Quartet No.6 in G, Op.102.
 
 

The Allegri Quartet ended the evening with an intense and wonderfully
played Beethoven Quartet in E flat, Op.127, enthusiastically
