A new base for chamber musicians at Kings Place. ChamberStudio offers coaching and support to aspiring up-and-coming chamber groups. It is open throughout the year, and it aims to helpfully complement the residential chamber courses and other annual events already held around Europe. Each week, eminent chamber players and teachers will provide coaching and guidance, and an opportunity to meet other like minded musicians in the wonderful setting of Kings Place.

The LCMS supports ChamberStudio.

Gone with the Winds are a new and exciting wind ensemble, comprising recent graduates and current students of Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, and the Royal College of Music. They met and formed in 2011 whilst studying together at Trinity Laban. In addition to their commitments with the quintet, all members pursue busy freelance careers. Their collective professional experience includes performances with orchestras such as the Philharmonia, City of London Sinfonia and BBC Concert Orchestra, in venues including the Royal Albert Hall and Royal Festival Hall, and on national and international tours.

With a wide variety of repertoire including Beethoven, Barber and Nielsen, the quintet has given recitals in London and the South-East, whilst also performing at various private events. As an ensemble they have received coaching from such eminent musicians as Anna Noakes, Chris O'Neal, Phil Turbett and Szabolcs Zempleni. The group is currently working towards performances at various events in London and across the UK, with a particular focus on a new schools workshop programme.

To tie in with the Beethoven theme of the Allegri Quartet's concert they will begin their performance with an overture from the same composer.
