Katherine and Laura hope the concert will be fitting in a number of ways.
Firstly there is the link that both ensembles involve woodwind and strings. Secondly the duo’s performance will feature a work by a living composer (Liebermann) to match the Fribbins Quintet.
Also, the duo will include late 19th Century repertoire from Walter-Kune and Grandval, roughly contemporary with the Brahms Quintet. |
