Maggie Cole: fortepiano

Kati Debretzeni: violin

Sebastian Comberti: cello

Oliver Wilson: viola

Trio Goya brings period performance insights to favourite Viennese classical works, with a beautiful replica Walter fortepiano from 1795, and string players performing on gut strings and with the old design of bows. Starting with Haydn’s most popular trio, they then perform one of Beethoven’s ground-breaking early trios from the 1790s. A beautiful Schubert string trio is then followed by one of the triumphs of the classical piano quartet repertoire – Mozart’s E-flat Piano Quartet.
