The Rossetti Ensemble – John Lenehan, Sarah Tricky, Sarah Jane Bradley, Ursula Smith – present an imaginative programme of piano quartets. Mozart’s ever-popular G minor Piano Quartet is followed by John Lenehan’s own arrangement of Ravel’s beautiful Ma mère l'Oye, originally composed for the children of his friends Ida and Cipa Godebski in 1910. The French theme continues with Chausson’s ravishing fin de siècle Piano Quartet in A, from 1897, to finish.
This performance will last approximately 2 hours, including a 20 minutes interval.
A small number of tickets in the front two rows are available for £28 online or £31 at the door (£21/£23.25 for LCMS Friends).
Student and young adult tickets are £7 both online and at the door.
